Atolón de Mororoa
Diseño Teatral en Uruguay es un proyecto del Instituto Nacional de Artes Escénicas del MEC; y el Centro de Investigación, Documentación y Difusión de Artes Escénicas del Teatro Solís.
Se trata de un libro con entrevistas a escenógrafos uruguayos (9 pliegos a 1 tinta en papel obra) y reseñas fotográficas de sus trabajos (2 pliegos a 4 titnas en papel coteado mate). A partir del concepto de economía de recursos, clave en el trabajo de estos escenógrafos, se realizaron distintas composiciones generadas con una paleta acotada de formas y medios tonos. La reorganización de estos elementos gráficos genera distintos escenarios que presentan a cada entrevistado.
The book "Theatrical Design in Uruguay - Scenography from experience" is a project of the National Institute of Performing Arts of the Ministry of Education and Culture; and the Center of Research, Documentation and Diffusion of Performing Arts of the Solis Theater. The book contains interviews with Uruguayan set designers (9 pages in black and white on paper) and photographic reviews of their work (2 sheets in color on matte paper). With lack of resources —a key concept in the work of these scenographers— several compositions were produced with a limited palette of shapes and halftones. The reorganization of these graphic elements generates different scenarios during each interview.
