Atolón de Mororoa
El segundo libro de Gastón Rosa, con un texto más íntimo, que además abre en dos direcciones. Muertes escritas de un lado, y del otro, dando vuelta el libro, Antes de morir pensaré en mi amor, un poemario sin imágenes, solo texto.
Esa estructura de dos libros en uno definió todo el proyecto. Dos portadas, dos sistemas de apertura, y un centro donde ambos textos se encuentran. La idea era que cada mitad tuviera identidad propia sin dejar de sentirse parte del mismo objeto.
Para la paleta, trabajamos con dos tintas, rojo y negro. Jugando con los distintos porcentajes de rojo conseguimos el rosado y otros tonos intermedios, así que todo el libro respira dentro de esa misma familia de color sin necesidad de sumar una tinta más.

That two-books-in-one structure shaped the whole project. Two covers, two opening systems, and a center where both texts meet. The idea was for each half to have its own identity while still feeling part of the same object.
We worked with two inks, red and black. By playing with different percentages of red we got the pink and other in-between tones, so the whole book breathes within that same color family without needing to add another ink
